Karla Gochenour’s story is one of resilience, reinvention, and the courage to keep evolving. A former teen mom, Karla didn’t let circumstance write her story—she picked up the pen herself. By 25, she had earned three undergraduate degrees while raising her son, laying the foundation for a life of purpose and impact.

Now a board-certified nurse practitioner and the owner of a successful medical practice, Karla specializes in medical weight loss, hormone support, and aesthetic medicine. Her work is centered on helping people feel like themselves again—stronger, healthier, and more confident from the inside out.

In 2023, Karla was honored to hold the title of Mrs. USA, a moment that reflected not just beauty or grace, but growth. Pageantry gave her the space to find her voice and share her journey, inspiring others to stand in their own strength. She authored a book on Amazon

She is currently earning her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, continuing to challenge herself academically while remaining deeply committed to her patients, her business, and her role as a mother.

Karla is passionate about mentorship, personal growth, and creating spaces where women can rise without apology. When she’s not working, you’ll find her somewhere quiet—painting in the style of Bob Ross, exploring a new place, or reflecting with a cup of coffee and her cat, Fabio, nearby.
