1. Media and Public Conduct:
- Nude or Lascivious Media: Titleholder agrees to refrain from participating in, endorsing, or distributing nude or lascivious media. The Titleholder also agrees not to pose nude while wearing the crown or sash during and after her reign to maintain the Pageant's brand integrity.
- Social Media: Titleholder must conduct herself with dignity and respect on all social media platforms. Any behavior that includes bullying, intoxication, illegal activities, nudity, or repeated lasciviousness will result in immediate dismissal and the return of the crown and sash within 14 days.
- Public Appearances: Titleholder will not smoke, drink, or display such activities while wearing the crown or sash. She must present herself as a positive role model adhering to public safety laws and societal norms.
2. Crown and Sash Usage:
- Post-Reign Usage: Titleholder agrees not to use the crown or sash for photography, media, or public events after her reign without express written consent from the Pageant office.
- Authorization: For any use of the crown or sash post-reign, Titleholder must contact the Pageant office and obtain written approval.
3. Exclusivity and Competition:
- Exclusive Titleholder: During her reign, Titleholder agrees not to participate in any other pageants, competitions, or seek any other titles, whether international or national.
- Other Pageants: This exclusivity ensures that the Titleholder's focus remains solely on her duties and responsibilities as Miss Global Icon.
- U.S. Titleholders: Titleholders from the United States are prohibited from competing in any other pageants during their reign. They must return to compete as the United States representative at the Miss & Mr. Global Icon pageant at the end of their term.
4. Behavioral Expectations:
- Conduct: Titleholder agrees to act with dignity and respect in all public and private interactions, both online and offline.
- Public Statements: Titleholder must avoid posting or endorsing any negative or denigrating content about the Pageant, its affiliates, or any individuals involved, including vendors, judges, and staff. This includes, but is not limited to, forums, social media, and internet boards.
5. Appearance and Social Media Requirements:
- Appearances: Titleholder agrees to make at least two public appearances per month, representing the Pageant as directed.
- Social Media: Titleholder agrees to make a minimum of four social media posts per month, showcasing her role and activities as Miss Global Icon, in alignment with Pageant guidelines.
- Presentability: Titleholder must ensure that she is always presentable and appropriately dressed when wearing the crown and sash, maintaining a professional and polished appearance.
6. Photo/Video Release:
- Media Usage: Titleholder grants the Pageant, its affiliates, and agents permission to use her name, photographs, and video recordings for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, print media, digital platforms, social media, and any other media format. Titleholder waives any right to inspect or approve the final use of such media and acknowledges that no compensation will be provided for such use.
7. Termination of Title:
- Immediate Termination: Violation of any terms of this Agreement, including the posting of negative or derogatory content, failure to meet appearance or social media requirements, or failure to maintain presentability while wearing the crown and sash, will result in immediate termination of the Titleholder's title.
- Return of Property: Upon termination, Titleholder must return the crown, sash, and any prizes or gifts received during her reign within 14 days at her own expense. If these items are not returned within the specified period, Titleholder will be invoiced for the face value of the gifts and prizes. Payment for such invoices must be made within 30 days of receipt.
8. Runner-Up Clause:
- First Runner-Up: In the event that the Titleholder fails to fulfill her duties or is otherwise unable to continue her reign, the First Runner-Up will assume the title of Miss Global Icon. The First Runner-Up will be entitled to the same responsibilities, privileges, and obligations as the original Titleholder.
9. Refund Policy:
- Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits made are non-refundable. Once a title is reserved for a country, state, or region, the contestant acknowledges that others interested in that title will be turned down.
10. Hold Harmless Clause:
- Indemnification: Titleholder agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Pageant, its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to her participation in the Pageant or her actions during her reign. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims related to personal injury, property damage, or defamation.
11. Titleholder Definitions:
- Miss Global Icon: Must present female on birth certificate/ legal medical proof of female gender.
- Mr. Global Icon: Must present male on birth certificate/ legal medical proof of male gender.
